Learn About Advanced Metering Program

The Santa Fe Irrigation District is in the process of implementing a District-wide Automated Metering Program (AMI) in six phases, totalling approximately 7,500 meters. The District has installed approximately 4,100 meters throughout the District in phases one through four.  Currently, the District is installing the fifth phase (approximately 2,150 meters) which will begin February 17, 2020, and will be completed by summer 2020. These new AMI water meters will communicate accurate usage data via wireless technology to the District, ending the need for manual local meter reading. In addition, you will be able to access your detailed water usage data by visiting Santa Fe Irrigation District's online portal. Once the project is complete, you will be able to login to your account to monitor your water usage and set-up helpful alerts.
