The Santa Fe Irrigation District (“District”) will receive sealed bids for the R.E Badger Operations Roof Replacement Project J-2050 at Santa Fe Irrigation District, 5920 Linea del Cielo, PO Box 409, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92067 no later than Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at 2:00 PM ; thereafter said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 3:00 PM in a Virtual Meeting via Zoom (details below). Bids received after this time will be returned unopened. Bids shall be valid for 60 calendar days after the bid opening date.

Due to COVID-19, Bids dropped off will be accepted at the “Water Bill Payments” Box in the front parking lot. Please wear proper PPE for drop off.

The work generally consists of, but not limited to complete removal of existing roofing systems, parapet wall roofing and covering, ductwork, vents, roof drains, curbs, and other associated work at the R.E. Badger Water Filtration Plant. The project also includes the installation of new roofing systems including PVC roofing, metal roof tile panels at parapet wall, new ductwork, reinstallation of cameras and various existing system components for a complete waterproof roof system. All work shall be in accordance with the Contract Documents.  The construction estimate for this project is $690,000.

Bids must be submitted on District’s Bid Forms.  Bidders can obtain an electronic copy of the Contract Documents on the District’s website at On the District website, there is a link to which hosts the full set of Contract Documents. Contractors should register for this project’s Prospective Bidders List to receive project updates. Addenda and other notices will be posted on and distributed to those parties registered for this particular project on this website.
