Rain Barrel Sale, Order Before Rain Arrives!

North County RB_50 gal

SFID has partnered with the Solana Center to offer customers a discount on rain barrels starting this week. While our region is currently in drought conditions, every drop saved during a rain event makes a difference. And rain may be on the way next week! Collecting rainwater for future use not only conserves drinking water, but also reduces irrigation runoff that can carry pollutants into local waterways and beaches

Rain barrels ordered by January 31, 2022 will be available for pick up at Solana Center for Environmental Innovation located at 137 North El Camino Real in Encinitas.

Fifty-gallon barrels are on sale for $97, with a final cost of $62 after a $35 rebate from water wholesaler Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.

Visit The Solana Center website to order your rain barrel today!

Rebates on rain barrels and other water-saving measures are available at

Portions of Rancho Santa Fe and Fairbanks Ranch that are in unincorporated areas are eligible for additional rebates through the County of San Diego, click here to learn more.
