Frank Creede, P.E. has joined the board of directors of Santa Fe Irrigation District as the Division 1 representative. Creede was sworn in at the district’s Rancho Santa Fe office prior to his first official meeting on July 16, which will be held virtually amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Creede was appointed by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors to succeed Ken Dunford, who served through March of 2020.
A 20-year Rancho Santa Fe resident, Creede served as the Chief Techology Officer of pdvWireless, Inc. now Anterix from 2003 through 2018. He was part of the senior management team that raised over $240 million and took the company public in 2015. Creede is also a member emeritus and former board member of the San Diego Tech Coast Angels and an angel investor in more than a dozen Southern California emerging high-tech companies. He is a mentor and board member at The Chairman’s Roundtable, sits on the infrastructure committee of the Rancho Santa Fe Association and volunteers at the EvoNexus technology incubator.
Creede is a registered professional engineer, and holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of California at Davis
